Alicia Olsen
Vice President of Litigation Management

Alicia Olsen has been managing Professional Liability claims for 30 years. Her career started at NORCAL and from there she moved on to the position of Vice President of Claims and Risk management at Beecher Carlson Insurance Services followed by 10 years at MedPro Group.  During her career she has managed claims for physicians, large medical groups, hospitals, senior care facilities, and the UC Regents of California. Alicia has also been a speaker at The Southern California Association of Health Care Risk Management on the following topics: “Sorry”  Works and Emerging Trends in Hospitalist Litigation. Alicia was also asked to speak at Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists National Convention where she presented a case study. She is also the author and presenter of “The EPIC Hangover-Electronic Charting the Morning After” which was presented to over 200 Emergency Physicians in the Bay Area.  She has also been a speaker at the Southern California Association of California Defense counsel such topics as on insurance claim trends in the medical group setting and Bad Faith pitfalls on high exposure claims.

Alicia started her education at Oxford University and thereafter attended University of Swansea, Wales and graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree Honor, English.
