Romulo Braga
Chief Financial Officer

Romulo (Rom) Braga is a senior executive with 20 years of insurance industry and capital markets experience. As the Chief Financial Officer, Rom is responsible for scaling up enterprise growth through capital strategy optimisation, assisting with nationwide corporate development, and supervising operations and infrastructure investments.

Previously, Rom found and led BMS Capital Advisory, BMS Group’s investment banking advisor, where he specialized in structuring, marketing, and executing corporate finance transactions and integrated risk solutions. Prior to BMS, he served in increasingly senior capital advisory and reinsurance positions at Aon and Benfield in the United States, United Kingdom and Brazil.

Mr. Braga graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Politics & Economics, and Spanish, and a jointly issued global executive MBA degree from TRIUM, an alliance among New York University Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris School of Management. While at BMS Capital Advisory, he held securities licenses (including the Series 24, Series 28, Series 7, and Series 63), as holds the designation of ARe from the Insurance Institute of America.  

Rom is an active volunteer and fundraiser for Covenant House International, the largest privately funded provider of services to homeless and trafficked youth in the Americas.
