Scott Cederburg
Chief Actuary

Scott Cederburg, FCAS, MAAA is Chief Actuary of AMS Management Group. Prior to joining the AMS team in 2025, he accumulated more than 30 years of property/casualty actuarial expertise, including two decades with leading advisory and accounting firms.  He began his career pricing with insurers before serving as a Director with PwC’s Actuarial Services practice and as Practice Leader of BDO USA’s Insurance Advisory Services.

Throughout his career, Scott advised insurers, reinsurers, healthcare providers, and other organizations retaining insurance risk on a wide variety of actuarial issues including reserving, pricing, due diligence, and other complex risk and compliance challenges. His expertise spans all property/casualty lines of business, with noteworthy experience with medical professional liability.

Scott is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He continues to shape the actuarial profession through thought leadership publications, industry presentations, and committee service. He earned his degree in Mathematics/Actuarial Science and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
